APPLICATION DEADLINE EXTENDED

StoryBlend 2008 will happen July 14-25, 2008 on the campus of the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN.

The first week we will meet Monday-Friday from 9:00-4:30 each day.
The second week we will meet Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00-4:30. Wednesday and Friday from 9:00-9:00

Participants can earn 7 RID CEUs

Participant fee is $500. (Due in July). Funding support is available for new graduates who are not yet employed. Please let us know if you have concerns about financing your participation.

Applications for StoryBlend 2008 are being taken now.  Applications must be postmarked by April 30, 2008.

In order to apply you must:

Have graduated from an interpreter education program by June 2008
Be pre-certified or hold an NAD III
Not had a significant relationship with a Deaf person (family or spouse)
Complete the attached application form and video by the deadline of May 18, 2008

We will review all application and choose up to 12 participants who represent a balance of experience, geographic regions and personal goals.  If we have more candidates than needed, those  applications received early will be given additional weight in the selection process, so get your application in as soon as you can!
